When applying for a short film grant, you should pay special attention to the requirements. For instance, some grants cannot be provided unless the filmmakers can finish their project under a certain dollar amount. Others require that projects be shot on specific types of film, and even that the project addresses certain social issues. This is not a complete list of grants available for short films, but its a great start for the short filmmaker who is ready to start an exciting new project.
